NBA DFS picks for Saturday, April 20

Paolo Banchero 35.5 points + rebounds + assists: HIGHER

In the regular season, Paolo Banchero averaged 34.9 points + rebounds + assists. Hitting one point over his average in a playoff game seems likely. Banchero ended the season playing his best basketball, hitting over the 35.5 line in his last two games.

Kevin Durant 23.5 points: HIGHER

A 23.5-point line for Kevin Durant seems almost disrespectful — he is a stud who averaged 27.1 points per game in the regular season. Not only that, but Durant is a proven playoff performer and knows how to get to his spots and knock down shots. The Timberwolves are one of the league’s better defensive teams, but with the Suns at full strength, taking away Durant would allow other players like Bradley Beal or Devin Booker too many open looks. That should lead to a more balanced defensive approach, allowing Durant to score at least his average.

Jalen Brunson 29.5 points: HIGHER

Jalen Brunson has become a go-to superstar in New York, leading the Knicks back to the playoffs even with major injuries and plenty of distractions around the team. Brunson has delivered all season long, scoring 28.7 PPG and carrying the Knicks at times. He scored 30 or more points in his last seven regular-season games, and that shouldn’t stop in the playoffs.

Nikola Jokic 22.5 rebounds + assists: HIGHER

Anthony Davis is one of the few players in the league who can slow down Nikola Jokic’s scoring. That won’t bother Jokic, though, as he will continue to impact the game with his passing and rebounding. Jokic averaged 21.4 rebounds and assists in the regular season, and with Davis slowing him down in the paint, expect a high assist total from the two-time MVP on Saturday.
