Fans Slam CM Punk as a “Hypocrite” Over Saudi Arabia Match at WWE Night of Champions

CM Punk is known for speaking his mind and never holding back his opinions. Over the years, he’s made it clear that he doesn’t support WWE’s shows in Saudi Arabia. However, fans are now calling him out for being a fraud and a hypocrite after it was confirmed Punk will compete against John Cena at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

One fan took to Twitter and revealed his disappointment in CM Punk, calling him a hypocrite and a fraud, and admitted they were shocked he had once been their favorite wrestler, saying, “My goodness what a hypocrite fraud can’t believe he was my favorite wrestler at one point.”

Another fan stated that CM Punk’s hypocrisy has almost become full circle, saying, “CM Punks Hypocrisy Has Almost Become Full Circle…..See You In Saudi 👋😉 #WWERaw”

Another fan criticized CM Punk, pointing out the irony of the so-called “voice of the voiceless” choosing to wrestle in a country known for silencing women, and labeled him a complete fraud.

“This just in, the “voice of the voiceless” is going to be wrestling in the country that literally Makes the women voiceless… CM Punk is nothing but a fraud.”

Another fan explained their hatred for CM Punk by calling him the biggest hypocrite who still manages to have supporters, adding that seeing him exposed like this hits him like crack, as they brought up Punk’s previous comments about Saudi Arabia.

“AND for the non-wrestling fans that follow me and wonder why I HATE cm punk, it’s because he’s the biggest hypocrite that people somehow like. This one hits like CRACK for me”

Punk has been very clear in the past about not supporting WWE’s events in Saudi Arabia. In 2020, he made headlines when he took a shot at The Miz with a harsh remark, saying, “Go suck a blood money covered d*** in Saudi Arabia you f******* dork.” Nonetheless, what’s done is done and Punk will face John Cena at Night of Champions on June 28th and fans will simply have to accept that now.
