The Boys upcoming prequel series, Vought Rising, just got its first batch of images, courtesy of series developer Eric Kripke, showing off heroes like Soldier Boy and more.
Kripke shared the first images on social media, highlighting the “supes” that will lead the series. Among the images are Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Private Angel (Elizabeth Posey), Bombsight (Mason Dye), and Torpedo (Will Hochman).
As Kripke highlights in the post, the outfits all fold in period details, and also showcase how the superheroes came to be from the military throughout World War II. While Kripke co-developed the series, Paul Grellong serves as Vought Rising’s showrunner.

Currently, not much is known about the plot of Vought Rising at this time, other than that it will be set in the 1950s and tell the origins of the villainous Vought company. The show received an Amazon Prime Video series order last summer and could also potentially star Mason Dye, who has been cast as Bombsight in The Boys Season 5.
An Amazon Prime Video premiere date for Vought Rising has not yet been announced. The Boys, meanwhile, will soon be coming to an end with Season 5, which is expected to arrive at some point in 2026.
