
HBO has announced the official title and release date for its newest comedy series, which hails from Bottoms star Rachel Sennott. In addition, the first-look photos of the main cast have also been revealed, featuring Sennott as Maia and The Hunger Games vet Josh Hutcherson as Dylan.
When is the release date for Rachel Sennott’s HBO comedy show?
Titled I Love LA, the upcoming comedy series is scheduled to make its debut on Sunday, November 2. New episodes will debut weekly until the finale on Sunday, December 21. Besides Sennott and Hutcherson, the cast also includes Odessa A’zion (Grand Army) as Tallulah, Jordan Firstman (Dave) as Charlie, and True Whitaker (Godfather of Harlem) as Alani.
“A codependent friend group reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition, and new relationships have changed them,” reads the show’s logline.
I Love LA is an 8-episode series created and directed by Sennott. She is also serving as an executive producer alongside Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria. Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez, and Colin Woodell are also set as guest stars.
This marks Sennott’s latest collaboration with HBO after previously starring with Lily-Rose Depp in The Idol series. She first gained recognition for her performance in 2020’s comedy movie Shiva Baby, which she also executive-produced. Her other notable film credits include Bodies Bodies Bodies, Bottoms, and I Used to Be Funny.
