The Detroit Lions play on Christmas.
But who’s actually going to be playing? That’s a lot less certain for the Lions’ Week 17 game on Thursday against the Minnesota Vikings.
You see, 11 Lions are listed as questionable on their final injury report of the week. Seriously, 11.

Detroit Lions injury report
The Lions have actually already listed two players as out: defensive back Avonte Maddox and offensive lineman Giovanni Manu.
That precedes the 11 players who are questionable.
Those 11:
- OL Trystan Colon (wrist)
- EDGE Marcus Davenport (shoulder)
- T Taylor Decker (shoulder/rest)
- CB Khalil Dorsey (illness)
- WR Tom Kennedy (abdomen)
- OL Christian Mahogany (fibula)
- DL Alim McNeill (abdomen)
- RB David Montgomery (illness)
- EDGE Al-Quadin Muhammad (knee)
- CB Amik Robertson (hand)
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee)
The news on Amon-Ra has been pretty positive, but he’s coming off a couple of limited practices and won’t be a sure thing until the inactive report midway Thursday afternoon.
Montgomery should be OK. He missed Tuesday’s practice with illness but was back as a limited participant on Wednesday.
