On Friday night at Wintrust Arena, the league’s top sharpshooters will assemble and showcase their stellar abilities from beyond the arc at the WNBA 3-Point Contest.
This year, six players from around the WNBA will face off in Chicago under a standard 3-point contest format. Five different locations around the arc feature four ball racks with four regular balls (worth one point) and one “money” ball (worth two points), along with a ball rack consisting of five money balls and two shots worth three points from an incredible distance away.
Bridget Carleton, 2026 No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd, Natisha Hiedeman, Rhyne Howard, Marina Mabrey, and Janelle Salaun will all battle it out in the Windy City, but only one will be able to walk away with the contest crown.

What channel is the WNBA All-Star 3-point contest on?

What time does the WNBA 3-point contest start?
- Date: Friday, July 24
- Time: 8 p.m. ET
The 3-Point Contest will take place on Friday, July 24, at around 8 p.m. ET from Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill. The sharpshooting competition will share the night with the participants of the Shooting Stars contest.
WNBA All-Star 3-point contest format
The WNBA’s 3-Point Contest employs the same format as the NBA’s version. Contest participants will launch shots at five different locations along the arc, with four ball racks consisting of four regular balls (worth one point) and one “money” ball (worth two points), along with a ball rack consisting of five money balls. Players can choose where they would like the money ball rack to be placed along the perimeter.
Located miles away are two spots from way downtown. Those chances hold one ball each, worth three points.
The contest is divided into two rounds. The two competitors with the highest scores after the first round will advance to the finale. They will participate in another round of shooting, this time pitted against each other.
