My Hero Academia Special Event Detailed, Villains Get New Artwork

Since its premiere in 2016, the My Hero Academia anime has held a yearly event for the television series to celebrate its time on the air. This year’s upcoming event will feature the League of Villains, and more information for it has been revealed.

Following the latest episode airing in Japan, the name of the event, as well as some visuals for it, were released across social media (via Crunchyroll). As the League of Villains are set to take over for the event, the special has been named My Hero Academia Special Event “1st Villain Alliance General Meeting,” with a handful of voice actors set to appear on the special, including:

  • Hiro Shimono (Dabi)
  • Koki Uchiyama (Shigaraki)
  • Misato Fukuen (Toga)
  • Ryo Iwasaki (Spinner)
  • Daichi Endou (Twice)
  • Tsuguo Mogami (Mr. Compress)

The upcoming event is set to be held at the Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo, Japan, on November 21, 2021.

Alongside the event’s details, it was also confirmed that a variety of exclusive goods will be made available to buy from the TOHO Animation Store starting on November 1, 2021. These include everything from socks, bags, stands, badges, and much more.
