Demon Slayer Returns in October for Mugen Train Arc Adaptation

Demon Slayer is officially set to return later this year, with Funimation confirming that the Mugen Train Arc will stream on its platform beginning next month.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc will begin streaming on Funimation on October 10, 2021, and will adapt the popular film into a seven-episode arc. Even if you’ve seen the film, there will be a reason to tune in as the Mugen Train Arc will include 70 additional scenes, new music tracks, new open and ending animations, and theme songs.

The arc also aims to connect the Unwavering Resolve Arc with the upcoming Entertainment District Arc. It will also feature a never-before-seen original episode of Kyojuro Rengoku taking on a new mission on the way to the Mugen Train.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train is directed by Haruo Sotozaki. Aniplex of America and Funimation handled distribution of the film for Australia, North America, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Demon Slayer began as a manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020.
