Best Marvel’s Spider-Man Magic Cards (4 of 5)

By | October 1, 2025

We’re back at it! After a small break to start getting into some spooky media, we’ve got two more lists of Marvel’s Spider-Man cards to get through. This time, we’re getting into the multicolor cards—and there are some weird, but fun, options here.

Spider-Ham, Peter Porker

This is such an odd card because of the decks it will show up in. The theme will feel completely off, but recent sets (especially Bloomburrow) gave us so many creatures that Spider-Ham is a good lord for. So much so, you can even overlap tribal plans in the right decks. Oh, and the food token and relevant creature types are just additional benefits for playing this weird Marvel’s Spider-Man card.

Cheering Crowd

I am fully aware that this card could backfire so badly—but it could also be a core piece in some kind of ramp or combo deck. And, unlike a lot of cards with abilities like this, you actually get the benefit the first turn you use it. Cheering Crowd is also both a citizen and a human, which can be useful in certain circumstances.

Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly

Okay, at a certain point, I’m not going to mention the relevant creature types, because this one is a human, hero, and a spider, and so are the next two cards. And all of them can be found with Radioactive Spider from the previous Marvel’s Spider-Man list, which is kind of absurd. Now, as to this actual card: the Scarlet Spider is such a good aggro option. 4/3 with trample and a reasonable cost makes this already useful, but Web-slinging means that you can go higher than that. Play something like Frenzied Baloth on turn two, attack with it, then, next turn, bring in Scarlet Spider (after a second attack), giving you a 6/5. On the following turn, you can replay the Baloth and likely something else for so much pressure.

Spider-Man 2099

Hate that ability restriction, but love this card. The attack potential is already amazing with the general abilities, but there are also plenty of ways to fire off that damage trigger every turn. Even if you don’t pump Spider-Man 2099 (but you should use pump spells), a shock worth of damage is nothing to sneeze at.

Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior

Giving this card flying just feels extra mean. Of all the many legendary cards in Marvel’s Spider-Man, this is likely one where it matters the least. You only need one Spider-Woman at a time, and in a control build, you’ll want to have a second in reserves to muck up an opponent’s plans.

And that’s another list down. We’ve only got a few more multicolored cards to go, and then some of the shockingly good lands, before we finish up Marvel’s Spider-Man, and, by extension, all the Through the Omenpath cards. I really like doing set reviews, so this has been a ton of fun. I hope to see you on the 6th for the final installment.
