…Sam, play it.

*Cue music.*

The last day of 2021 is finally here. It took so long, but we’ve arrived at the summit. So, to finish it out, we’ve got the beginning of a story. A story that’ll conclude next year. It’s about something else that’s coming fast and unavoidably so.

In a small apartment in the middle of a city, there’s a wall coming. We do not know what lies on the other side. But soon, a struggling couple in the big city must face it, and whatever it means.

You can CLICK HERE to fall into the tale.

It’s been an honor to be your Fictionmonger this year. I know that for many, 2021’s been hard. I hope the stories have helped. I hope these fantastical and wild tales we’ve spotlighted have offered an escape for those that need them. If I’ve achieved nothing else, that would be enough.

Happy New Year, everyone. May the next one be better.

tuning off…
