Bears vs. Patriots live streams: How to watch NFL ‘Monday Night Football’ game online without cable

By | October 24, 2022

After four straight weeks of divisional battles, “Monday Night Football” takes on a much different tone in Week 7.

This Monday, the Bears and Patriots go head-to-head for the first time since 2018 and just the 14th time ever in the regular season. The series between the franchises dates to 1973 and also includes Chicago’s rout of New England in Super Bowl 20.

The Patriots enter with the momentum of a two-game win streak fueled by the play of rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe, who, in the absence of the injured Mac Jones, has stepped up for New England in Weeks 5 and 6. Despite Zappe’s strong play, The Athletic’s Jeff Howe has reported that Jones will be back under center as soon as he is healthy enough to do so. Whether or not that’s in Week 7 remains to be seen.

Chicago, on the other hand, has lost three in a row, including a disappointing prime-time loss to Washington on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 6. After scoring just seven points in the loss, the Bears’ offense ranks 31st in the NFL at 15.5 points per game. Second-year quarterback Justin Fields has struggled this season, thanks largely to being sacked a league-high tying 23 times.
