Bad Bunny has been chosen to headline the Super Bowl 60 halftime show. With any performer chosen, one of the first questions fans have is “who could they bring out as a guest performer?”
Bad Bunny is now a worldwide sensation, but one of his first pick songs was part of a collaboration with rapper Cardi B. They teamed up along with J Balvin for the 2018 release of “I Like It.”
Cardi B would make an interesting choice for a guest performer since she is currently dating New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs who will be playing in the game. Bad Bunny has also promised that the halftime show will make the world dance in the teaser trailer, and “I Like It” would certainly fit that promise.

Cardi B and Bad Bunny collaborated with J Balvin to release “I Like It” in 2018. It was released directly to radio stations at first, and then re-appeared as the fourth single from Cardi B’s debut studio album “Invasion of Privacy.”
If you aren’t familiar with the whole song, you’ve likely heard the “I Like It” chorus in commercials.

When the song dropped, it rose to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, and was the second single from Cardi B to do so. It was the first time in history that a female rapper achieved that feat. It ended 2018 as the No. 7 song for the Billboard Top 100 in the U.S, and at No. 69 for the same list at the end of 2019. “I Like It” Finished at No. 56 on the US Billboard Hot 100 all-decade list from 2010 to 2019.
The song also reached the top 10 of the charts in Canada, Ireland, Portugal, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Slovakia and the U.K. Billboard, the Los Angeles Times and Apple Music ranked it as the best song of 2018, while Rolling Stone named it the 11th-best summer song ever.
“I Like It” was nominated for the 2019 Grammy for Record of the Year, but did not win. It did win a 2018 MTV Video Music Awards for Song of the Summer and the 2019 Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Song.
