Derrick Henry sends Josh Norman — and Twitter — flying with vicious stiff arm

Leave it to Derrick Henry to make a negated 4-yard run look nothing short of amazing.

The bullish Titans running back on Tuesday had perhaps the play of the game midway through the second quarter when he took a handoff, bounced it out left and sent cornerback Josh Norman flying with an absolutely vicious stiff arm en route to a minimal gain (which was promptly negated due to offsetting penalties by both teams).

Yikes.

Norman’s primary problem was that he didn’t actually go low on the 6-3, 238-pound Titan, instead running roughly parallel to him. Add to that Norman’s high pad level and Henry’s ridiculous strength, and the ensuing result was all but inevitable.

But enough about technique; Henry’s highlight-reel play prompted quite the response on Twitter, both among people who lauded his natural gifts and by those who took the opportunity to kick Norman while he was down (actually, has he returned from orbit yet?)

Here is a sampling of the best Twitter had to offer:
