The Seahawks and Cardinals were originally slated for a regional late-afternoon kickoff in Week 7, but instead they get Sunday Night Football treatment after the NFL altered the schedule. That’s good for fans of offense, which most NFL DFS players are. Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray promise to put on quite a show, and that’s why we couldn’t leave them out of our DraftKings Showdown lineup.
In addition to the QBs, we’ve taken the top pass-catcher on each team in DeAndre Hopkins and DK Metcalf. That means we need a value captain and value flex play, but it’s worth it to have the high-powered passing attacks. If this turns into a grind-it-out rushing affair, that’s too bad, and we’ll probably just turn on the World Series at that point.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Seahawks vs. Cardinals
Captain (1.5x price, 1.5x points): WR Freddie Swain, Seahawks ($1,200)
Swain was playing more than a third of Seattle’s snaps ahead of the Week 6 bye. He already has a Sunday night touchdown this season, in Week 2 against the Patriots, and consistently sees at least a few touches each game. He was known at Florida for his explosiveness, so we’ll be hoping for one big play here.
FLEX: QB Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($12,800)
Still likely the front-runner for MVP, Wilson should have a lot more success against Arizona’s defense than Andy Dalton did. Wilson is too dominant a force in his best games to consider making a DFS lineup without him.
FLEX: QB Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($12,000)
Murray had a great Week 6 fantasy day despite completing just nine passes, which shows the true extent of his abilities. He should find more rhythm with DeAndre Hopkins to complete more passes against a weak Seattle defense, dueling Wilson right up until the final buzzer.
FLEX: WR DeAndre Hopkins, Cardinals ($10,800)
Check back at 6:50 p.m. ET to ensure Hopkins is continuing to play through his ankle injury. It hasn’t been a problem so far this season, so as long as he’s active, expect a big bounce-back day from the biggest offseason acquisition in the NFL.
FLEX: WR DK Metcalf, Seahawks ($10,200)
I normally play Tyler Lockett whenever the Seahawks play in prime time, but I guess I’m a convert now. Metcalf has burned one too many defenders on national television to fade him and opt for the value Lockett could provide. It’s not value if Metcalf has the much better day, which he very well could here.
FLEX: WR Andy Isabella, Cardinals ($3,000)
Isabella is a one-trick pony, but he does that trick very well. He’s faster than basically anyone on the field, so when he runs deep in a straight line, all he needs is an accurate ball from Murray. That deep accuracy wasn’t there from Murray in Week 6, so we’re counting on some positive regression and one home-run connection with Isabella on Sunday night.
