USA 2, Giants 0

3:12 p.m. — Aaron Judges hits the first pitch he sees, and it is a hard ground ball up the middle just to the left of second base, plating two runs.

3:11 p.m. — Bobby Witt Jr. sends the second pitch of the game into left field. The broadcast reminds viewers that there is no ABS in this game, because it is not used in international competition yet.

Bryce Harper had a 3-1 count and smoked a line drive into left-center for a double. Witt moved up to third.

Pre-game

3:06 p.m. — The game is set to begin with Team USA hitting first.

2:40 p.m. — 23-time gold medalist Michael Phelps is in the building to take in the exhibition game and cheer on Team USA. The broadcast said that Phelps spoke to Team USA at a dinner on Monday night.

1:52 p.m. — Team USA begins its 2026 WBC schedule officially on Friday with a game against Brazil. Ahead of that, the U.S. squad will play this exhibition game against the Giants on Tuesday, followed by an exhibition against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.

1:27 p.m. — The United States’ lineup in this exhibition game looks like something you’d see in an All-Star game. Even though it’s an exhibition, the Giants’ lineup looks like a typical Spring Training lineup. Only four of San Francisco’s nine batters in its lineup project to be on the opening day roster.

1:07 p.m. — Team USA is going to start Paul Skenes against San Francisco. Skenes is still ramping up his workload in the spring, so he likely won’t get close to a typical start from a pitch count perspective.

The Giants will counter with Adrian Houser. If San Francisco is going to have to face its own ace, Logan Webb, who is on the Team USA roster, it would only be in relief.

12:38 p.m. — Here is how Team USA will line up for its exhibition against the Giants.
