Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire Joins Funimation’s Fall Anime Lineup

Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire, a Chinese anime, is set to join the long list of Funimation’s fall 2021 anime lineup, the company announced on Sunday.

The anime series comes from bilibili and studio Shenying Animation, and is a supernatural action drama that focuses on an organization that deals with a ton of paranormal happenings. New recruit Xuan Ji is the main protagonist of the series, and is brought together with an “ancient awakened emperor” in the series.

Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire is based on a Chinese web novel series from Priest, and joins a fall anime slate that is incredibly jam-packed for fans looking to catch up on some big titles.

Funimation has said that more content will also be announced and added in the coming days, so fans should be ready for even more great shows to hit the streaming service soon.
