Harley Quinn Season 5 Renewal Announced for Max Series

Harley Quinn Season 5 has officially been announced, as the DC animated comedy series has gotten renewed for a fifth season.

Though Season 4 only ended back in September, Variety has reported that the popular Max series has been renewed for Season 5. There’s no word on a release date window for the upcoming season, but a spin-off from Harley Quinn — Kite Man: Hell Yeah! — is set to debut in some time in 2024.

“Harley Quinn has raised the comedic crowbar with every new season. We’re excited to continue this partnership with Max and take our biggest swing yet for Season 5,” Peter Girardi, Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming at Warner Bros. Animation said of the renewal in a statement.

“The talented Harley Quinn team has once again succeeded in delivering a season that builds on everything that has come before while still feeling fresh and inventive,” stated Suzanna Makkos, Executive Vice President of Original Comedy and Adult Animation at Max and Adult Swim. “They continue to provide hilarious, heartwarming, and deranged stories with our lovable group of DC misfits, and we couldn’t be more excited for the fans to see what they’ve accomplished in Season 5.”

Who is part of Harley Quinn’s voice cast?

The voice cast of Season 4 included Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco as the titular villain, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Clayface and the Joker, Ron Funches as King Shark, JB Smoove as Frank the Plant, Giancarlo Esposito as Lex Luthor, Natalie Morales as Lois Lane, Jim Rash as Riddler, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Tony Hale as Dr. Psycho, Chris Meloni as Commissioner Gordon, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, and Jacob Tremblay as Robin.

Harley Quinn Season 4 featured a new showrunner and executive producer in the form of Sarah Peters (Master of None), who took over from Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker.
