Jason Bateman Is Jude Law’s Troubled Brother in Black Rabbit Trailer

Netflix has shared the official Black Rabbit trailer for its upcoming crime thriller about two brothers who must work together in order to save the family business after one of them gets involved with dangerous people. The limited drama is scheduled to make its debut on September 18.

“Set against the backdrop of New York City’s high-pressure nightlife scene, Black Rabbit centers on two brothers who are pushed to the brink by their duty to family and their pursuit of success,” reads the official synopsis. “Jake Friedken is the charismatic owner of Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. But when his brother, Vince, returns to the business unexpectedly, trouble soon follows; opening the door to old traumas and new dangers that threaten to bring down everything they’ve built. Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit.”

Who is in the Black Rabbit trailer?

The video introduces its two leading characters, portrayed by Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman as Vince and Oscar nominee Jude Law as Jake. It highlights Vince and Jake’s complicated bond, while also teasing some of the dangerous things they’ll go through. Joining them are Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Sope Dirisu, Troy Kotsur, Abbey Lee, Chris Coy, Dagmara Dominczyk, Odessa Young, and Robin De Jesus, with Amir Malaklou, Don Harvey, Forrest Weber, Francis Benhamou, Gus Birney, John Ales, and Steve Witting.

Black Rabbit is created by Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, with Bateman also directing two episodes. In addition to leading the cast, Bateman and Law are also serving as executive producers along with Michael Costigan, Roxie Rodriguez, Jude Law, Ben Jackson, Zach Baylin, Kate Susman, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy, David Bernon, and Erica Kay.
