Krapopolis has a set release date as Deadline reports that the Dan Harmon animated series will premiere Sunday, September 24 on Fox. The show will launch with a special two-episode preview after that night’s NFL matchups on the network.
Krapopolis will then become a part of the network’s Animation Domination block starting on Sunday, October 1. It will air after The Simpsons and before Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy.
What To Know About Krapopolis
“Krapopolis is set in mythical ancient Greece,” according to the official synopsis. “It tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters that try their hand at running the world’s first cities – without trying to kill each other, that is.”
Already renewed for two additional seasons, Krapopolis features the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy, and Duncan Trussell.
Krapopolis is created and executive produced by Harmon. It’s produced by Fox’s Bento Box Entertainment. Jordan Young serves as showrunner for the first season. Alex Rubens will be the showrunner for seasons two and three.
