Netflix has released the first batch of official The Crown Season 6 photos for the upcoming final season of the acclaimed drama.
The Crown Season 6 photos provide fans a first look at newcomers Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy’s respective portrayals of a young Prince William and Kate Middleton. It also teased the future King and Queen of England’s college romance when they were both students at University of St. Andrews.
“As The Crown enters a new decade, Prince William starts at University in St Andrew’s, determined to lead as normal a life as possible while he still can,” reads the logline (via Variety). “Also beginning life as a university student, is Kate Middleton from Berkshire. As the pair meet for the first time on campus, a new romance and a new future for The Crown begins.”

The series hails from creator/writer Peter Morgan, director Stephen Daldry and producer Andy Harries. Since its debut, it has won a number of awards, including three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Emma Corrin. The fourth season also took home multiple major awards, including Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
