The series will air simultaneously on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim’s Toonami, with the show set to release sometime this summer. Fena: Pirate Princess will follow Fena Houtman, a young orphan who is on the run from pirates and the English Navy after her parents are killed.
In her journey, she’ll partner up with samurai as she searches for her family’s treasure and tries to avoid getting captured. The series will last 12 episodes, and comes with a lot of anticipation, as the production studio behind it has worked on titles like Ghost in the Shell as well as the first three seasons of Attack on Titan in the past.

When the series premieres later this summer, it will have both dubbed episodes (on Adult Swim’s Toonami) and subtitled episodes on Crunchyroll.
