IGN Roundtable is a brand new initiative we’re starting that brings together the best and brightest in the worlds gaming, film, TV, and pop culture to talk about what’s really on their minds. From the state of the industry to inspirations, you never know what’s going to happen at these one-of-a-kind chats between legends.
To kick things off, we’re proud to announce our first IGN Roundtable will take place on December 7, right before The Game Awards, and will feature devs from Alan Wake 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 talking about some of the greatest stories to ever hit the digital screen and whatever else they want to speak to each other about.
Instead of having a host, these devs will have the chance to have a conversation with each other and talk about what it really takes to make some of the best games of the year.
IGN’s Twenty Questions – Guess the game!
This will be a great chance to learn more about not only the creatives behind some of your favorite games, but also a chance to hear the perspective on some of the biggest topics inside the gaming industry and beyond!
We will be releasing the first part of the chat on December 7, and the second and final parts will follow on December 11 and December 13.
This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to reveal what else we have planned for IGN Roundtable in the future.
As we previously mentioned, the first part of our IGN Roundtable will arrive just before The Game Awards, where Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 are both up for Game of the Year. To learn more about one of the biggest nights in the world of gaming, be sure to check out our guide that will tell you how you can watch The Game Awards and what you can expect from the show that promises incredible reveals, recognition of our favorite games and creators, and musical performances.
You can also check out more about these Game of the Year contenders before the roundtable by checking our our Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 review and Alan Wake 2 review. In addition, be sure to look at why having Alan Wake 2 helps with the pain of not having Silent Hills and how Remedy created Alan Wake 2’s horrifying game over screen.
In the world of Spider-Man, read up on the 10 things we learned from our big Spider-Man 2 postmortem and why we think Spider-Man is now the only true Arkham successor.
