AEW Dynamite Anniversary Show Tramples WWE NXT In Viewership & Ratings

AEW brought a big anniversary episode of Dynamite with four titles on the line. WWE NXT built toward Halloween Havoc and their Spin The Wheel, Make A Deal gimmick. How did the viewership turn out?

Showbuzz Daily reports that AEW Dynamite pulled in 826,000 viewers with a .30 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT brought in 651,000 with a .17 in the 18-49 demographic. AEW Dynamite beat WWE NXT by 175,000 viewers this week.

Last week AEW Dynamite brought in 753,000 viewers with a .31 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT drew 639,000 with a .16 in the 18-49 demographic. Dynamite ranked #19 in the night and NXT ranked in #56.

The week before that saw AEW Dynamite bring in 866,000 viewers with a .33 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT brought in 732,000 with a .19 in the 18-49 demographic.

The week prior saw AEW Dynamite win again with 835,000 viewers. They had a .26 in the 18-49 demographic. AEW was down from the previous week, but they still beat their pro wrestling competition. WWE NXT brought in 696,000 viewers. They pulled in a .18 in the 18-49 demographic.

The previous week’s Wednesday Night War was the first week back after several weeks of airing on different days due to the NBA Playoffs. AEW Dynamite brought in an overnight average of 886,000 viewers. WWE NXT brought in less than that with 689,000 viewers.

The week prior AEW Dynamite drew 1.016 million. They scored a 0.37 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT drew 838,000 viewers, but they were not head-to-head. WWE NXT also scored a .22 rating in the 18-49 demographic this week.

The previous week’s episode of NXT pulled in 849,000 viewers. They also scored a .26 in the 18-49 demographic. AEW Dynamite brought in 928,000 viewers for the go-home episode for All Out. They pulled a .36 in the 18-49 demographic. They were not in direct competition.
