Jim Crockett Jr. ‘In Grave Condition’ Experiencing Multiple Organ Failures

By | February 28, 2021

Jim Crockett Jr. was reportedly hospitalized and he wasn’t doing well. A new update on his condition does not paint the situation in any better light.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that Jim Crockett Jr. is in “grave condition.” He is suffering issues with his liver and kidneys failing. This is a tragic loss to pro wrestling as he was a part of so much history.

“Jim Crockett is in grave condition with his liver and kidneys failing and it’s not looking good. So, that’s the thing with Jim Crockett Jr right now. He ran Jim Crockett promotions and was one of the leading wrestling promotions. His father started Jim Crockett promotions in the 30’s and his father passed away rather young in ’73.”

Crockett moved to the Dallas, Texas area where he got involved in the real estate business. He was a senior loan officer for a mortgage company after leaving the pro wrestling business.

Jim Crockett Jr. was a huge part of pro wrestling and the business wouldn’t be the same without his contributions today. Our thoughts go out to Crockett and his family during this time. Hopefully, he will be able to kick out of this situation and make a recover.
