Matt Riddle Believes Fans Love Him Talking Trash About Brock Lesnar & Goldberg

By | February 4, 2022

Matt Riddle and Bill Goldberg did not have the most amicable of relationships in pro wrestling. On several occasions, the two WWE Superstars have shown their dislike for each other. Back in 2019, Riddle criticized Goldberg for being an unsafe and dangerous worker and said that he was “the worst wrestler in the business.”

Now the two can have a chat in the Gorilla Position without having any issues. Riddle has also called out the WWE Hall Of Famer in the past and was not shy about it. Riddle was also confronted by Goldberg backstage during SummerSlam in 2019, where he told Riddle that he was not ”his bro.” Goldberg also blocked Riddle on social media in the past.

Goldberg previously revealed in an interview that he still appreciates Matt Riddle even if he doesn’t necessarily like Riddle. Riddle stated that he understood why Goldberg doesn’t like him as a person.

That is not all as he and Brock Lesnar aren’t on the best of terms either. During the 2020 Royal Rumble, Matt Riddle and Brock Lesnar had a confrontation backstage, where Brock Lesnar said he never wants to work with Riddle.

While speaking on Mark Andrews: My Love Letter To Wrestling, Matt Riddle talked about his beef with Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Riddle stated that he believes fans love it when he trash-talked about the two of them.

“I don’t know what everybody else is getting paid to do. I know why I’m here and I’m still valuable, and it’s because every week there’s a new article, good or bad. People can’t shut up about me. It’s because I talk as much trash as I do and I don’t give a damn about anything. People love that.”

Booker T also believes Matt Riddle will be a world champion in WWE. It remains to be seen whether Riddle will win a major title in WWE, perhaps against Randy Orton.
