WWE put their top title on RAW back around Drew McIntyre’s waist with under one week before Survivor Series, an event with no planned title defenses. The company needs more challengers to line up for McIntyre’s second run with the title.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is protecting Bobby Lashley. The United States Champion is looking strong, but it’s unclear if it is to elevate his own title. There is an idea that WWE could have more planned for the All Mighty.
It was noted that WWE might be preparing Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre for another program with the WWE Title in play. We previously reported that Lashley’s Survivor Series match is likely to be a squash which would further elevate Lashley.
We’ll have to see what’s in the pipeline for everyone involved. WWE needs more challengers for the King Of Claymore Country. The CEO of the Hurt Business could be in line for another title opportunity soon enough.
