Tony Khan Denies Making Contract Offer To Adam Cole

By | August 6, 2021

Adam Cole’s WWE contract is a very interesting discussion point right now. His deal was up in July, but he agreed to enough of an extension where he will work TakeOver: 36 on August 22nd. His next steps are totally up to him at this point.

Britt Baker already made it 100% that she would be happy for Adam Cole no matter where he goes. WWE has yet to offer him a long-term contract yet, but there was a report saying AEW extended an offer.

Dave Meltzer tweeted out to follow-up on his previous report. He stated that Tony Khan said no deal was offered to Cole at this time.

Tony Khan said it is incorrect and he has not made an offer to Adam Cole.

It was interesting to hear that AEW extended a contract to Cole. Since Mr. Bay Bay was always under a WWE deal, then that might have been considered contract tampering. TK claims that is not the case.

We will just have to see what happens next, because the next few weeks in Adam Cole’s life are likely to be lucrative and/or incredibly interesting.
