WWE Rebrands 205 Live To NXT: Level Up

By | February 15, 2022

WWE has a lot of things going right now on the road to WrestleMania. They are also rebranding a show in the process.

205 Live was once a show with a lot of promise, then it lost a lot of focus. In recent months people far outside the 205 weight limit have appeared on the program. Now the show is no more.

WWE registered a copyright for Level Up recently, and it appears that will be the new branding for 205 Live. PW Insider reports that NXT: Level Up will tape before tonight’s Vengeance Day special.

Instead of 205 Live, WWE are slated to tape the first episode of NXT: Level Up prior to tonight’s NXT Vengeance Day live broadcast in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.  We are told the episode is slated to be 60 minutes long.

We’ll have to see what happens with this new incarnation of 205 Live. It was a fun run while it lasted, but now 205 Live can feature even more NXT talent since it’s been under that umbrella for some time now anyway.
