The regional round of the 2022 NCAA softball tournament was nothing if not exciting. There were upsets, such as Mississippi State’s two-game sweep over No. 2 Florida State. There were blowouts, like No. 1 Oklahoma’s 20-0 win over Texas A&M.
Now comes the real test. Super regionals begin May 26. Teams are just one weekend away from really being able to dream of Oklahoma City glory.
The eight super regionals feature a largely top-heavy cast of characters this season. Still, five of the 16 regional hosts were eliminated last round. Upsets can definitely happen.
Here’s all the information you need to watch the next level of the college softball’s postseason tourney.
