The 2025 Club World Cup will mark to be Luka Modric’s last dance at Real Madrid.
With his contract expiring by the end of June, Modric confirmed last month that he will be taking his leave from Santiago Bernabeu in 13 illustrious years.
Even though the midfielder maestro will be turning 40 this September, Modric’s efforts and contributions on the pitch persist, with no plans of retirement in sight.
Following his announcement of departure from Real Madrid as a free agent, several clubs across the world, including the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer sides, have reportedly shown great interest in acquiring Modric’s signature.
And now, a Serie A club is reported to have ‘dreams’ of signing Modric this summer.
Which Serie A club is keen on signing Real Madrid’s Luka Modric?
AC Milan’s new director Igli Tare dreams of bringing Luka Modric to San Siro, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer expert also reported that the midfielder is one of the names mentioned in the Rossoneri’s initial internal talks.

Reports have also suggested that Modric has been an AC Milan supporter as a child, which could help in the Italian club’s efforts to sign him.
While Modric is set to part ways with Real Madrid as the club’s most decorated player with 28 trophies, it remains to be seen where he is headed next.
