The Pretty Boy Detective Club English dub is upon us and is officially making its debut on the anime streaming service Funimation.
According to Funimation, the first episode of the Pretty Boy Detective Club English dub will be arriving on the streamer on May 29. The anime series hails from studio SHAFT and is part of a collaborative effort between Funimation, Aniplex of America, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

The Pretty Boy Detective Club anime follows Mayumi Dojima, a young girl in search of a star she had seen ten years ago. In order to solve the mystery, she visits the Pretty Boy Detective Club to begin her quest alongside the five pretty boy investigators.
Pretty Boy Detective Club began as a Japanese mystery novel series written by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Kinako. Published by Kodansha, the series received a total of twelve volumes since it released in 2015.

A manga adaptation of the novel was released in April 2016. It was also written by Nisio Isin, but illustrated by Suzuka Oda. It began its serialization in Aria, but was then moved to Shōnen Magazine Edge in October 2018.
The Pretty Boy Detective Club anime TV series premiered in April 2021. It is directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and Hajime Ootani. Shinbo also wrote with aid from the studio SHAFT.
