The news was initially revealed on the official Disney+ Japan Twitter account (via Funimation), where the company shared a brief image showcasing what looks to be some of the characters that will be involved in the upcoming series.

Disney: Twisted-Wonderland is a Japanese mobile game that focuses mainly on the villains of various Disney franchises. In the game, players are dropped into an academy that houses many of the villains, with various dormitories each representing some of the most legendary Disney films, including Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, The Lion King, Snow White, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid.

Players can then go through classes and level themselves up, take exams, and participate in mini-games as well.

Disney: Twisted-Wonderland was released in 2020 and is currently only available in Japan, but given the fact that an anime adaptation is already in the works, it wouldn’t be too shocking to see the game release elsewhere in the future.
