In a post made to Instagram, Jackson shared a series of photos of himself likely on the set of the upcoming sequel. In the first picture, Fury’s facial hair can be seen pinned to a stand, while the others show Jackson in a Captain Marvel-themed graphic t-shirt.

With Jackson seemingly onset, it seems like things on The Marvels are beginning to ramp up. In a recent interview on SiriusXM, Brie Larson revealed that production on the film had officially begun, and teased what promises to be a massive film.

The Marvels will see the return of Oscar winner Brie Larson as she reprises her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, who fans have last seen during Avengers: Endgame. The sequel will be helm by Nia DaCosta (Candyman), from a screenplay by Megan McDonnell.

Joining Larson in the sequel are WandaVision breakout star Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and MCU newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, in her own upcoming Disney+ series, which is currently in post-production. English actress Zawe Ashton (Velvet Buzzsaw) has also been cast for the role of the film’s antagonist. It has also been rumored that Jude Law might be reprising his role as Yon-Rogg. Popular South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon has also reportedly been cast for an undisclosed character.

The Marvels is currently set for a November 11, 2022, release.
