This page contains information on how to obtain Odin’s Spear, Gungnir, in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

A weapon of Norse mythology, Odin’s Spear, Gungnir, can be found by Eivor in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but it is only obtainable in the end game.

Odin’s Spear can be located in Hordafylke, which is a level 280 area in the northern part of Norway. Here you will find a cave named Goinnhellir, but there won’t be much to find her unless you have completed the final main story quest “A Brother’s Keeper“.

Once you have completed all but your final pledge in England, you will begin the final questline with Sigurd. “A Brother’s Keeper” has you return to Norway to find the life tree, Ygdrassil. This has you follow Sigurd into the cave to find answers for the visions both of you have had throughout the story.

After entering the cave, you will need to break an ice wall to continue deeper in. Eventually, you’ll come to a split path and can follow Sigurd to the right to continue the quest or head to the left to a dead end. Here you will find Odin’s Spear stuck in a wall. Grab it and it is all yours!

You can return to the cave to collect Odin’s Spear after finishing the main story if you did not grab it your first time through. Gungnir boasts some of the strongest weapon stats in the whole game, can be level up three additional times, and has three rune slots available.
