AEW Warns Fans About Fake Social Media Accounts Representing Brodie Lee’s Family

By | January 2, 2021

Update: The fake Brodie Lee Jr account has been taken down.

Original: Brodie Lee’s passing hit the pro wrestling world in a huge way. His loss caused grieving throughout the entire industry, and some people wanted to take advantage of that by creating fake social media accounts.

An impostor account was created claiming to be Brodie Lee Jr. Amanda Huber, Brodie Lee’s wife, reacted on Instagram where she shut down the rumor about this fake account. As of this writing, the account is still active.

AEW also posted a warning to fans. Any official AEW account will be shared through their social media.

If there is ever an “official / real” account for anyone associated with @AEW it would be promoted and followed by AEW. Beware of individuals pretending to be members of the Huber family.

This is a troubling situation. Nobody should have taken that Twitter handle except for Brodie Lee Jr. The account is not valid, but if anyone does start up an official account for -1 then AEW will be the first ones to let fans know about it.
